3 1/2 foot air space for ported 1ft air space for sealedwhat amplifier should i get for my subs?
a sealed box is much easier to build than a ported. and if you build a ported box its easy to ruin your subs if you dont build the box right. I think sealed has a much better sound to it as far as musical acuracy but if you want big bass then go with the ported. If you do want the ported box i suggest that you buy one thats profassionally built. or if your subs came with box building instructons and dimensions you can use them, some come with the subs and some dont. usually they have dimensions and guide lines on their home page too. What amp should i get for my two subs?

Sealed will produce the best quality for a car. Ported boxes are meant for a large area like a living room. Sealed boxes concentrate the bass to one area so that you get more bass inside the car.More Questions & Answers ...
