No easy answer for this one. Depends on the mondeo but the newer (post 99) don't have accessible gromits. While the Pre 99 need to be drilled although much easier than the Newer models. If your not confident with this leave it to the professionals

Should have started running the wire from the battery! You will need to either drill your own hole and install a grommet or cut a thin slice into one of the sealed wiring boots to run the wire through.
