How do I set my deck and amp for good max bass?

Question:
I got two 15s" Koves and a 2000 watt Autotek amp with a panisonic deck. It sounds good the way I have it set right now but it just doesn't seem like it's hitting like 15s should be. I really don't know the specs on the speakers like how much they can handle and all but i think it's their XK series. Is the amp enough or to much?

You'll need Microsoft Excel, a multi-meter (AC volt meter) and a way to burn an audio CD from an MP3.

I have one 12 in. pioneer premier and 2400w lanzar what would be the best way to hook it up.?

i agree with the above, however you could also go into your head unit, to the custom eq(if y=it has one, and if it also has a section for gh, kz, and what not) what you do from thee is set the bass for a low band width , mid for high, and treble for low. max out the bass, 6-8/3-4(6-8 for a 1-10 scale, 34 for a 1-5 scale), for the mid, and 7-8/4-5 on the treble. that should bring the bass out very well in a small- medium space of most cars, station wagon/vans/suv's.
you could also try to move your 15's into an up facing position, for better bass accustics.

What specs can you reccommend for car audio system for a budget of more or less $200?

Turn the gains on your amp all the way down. Bass boosts and loudnesses off. Now, to adjust your gains easily, turn radio up as loud as you'll ever turn it up. With it cranked, SLOWLY turn the gains (equally with one another) up until your bass distorts, back it down now. Keep all settings like this now. If you want the loud bass at low volumes, simply turn the bass (on EQ) up a little. Just make sure you put it back to 0 before you crank it back up.

How would I hook up a new amp and sub to an already aftermarket setup powered by a 200 watt amp?

Your gains are now set. You should be able to turn your stereo up almost to max cause since the bass is at 0 on it, your door speakers won't distort.
Sound better? Ought to.
Good Luck!
