Help with my subwoofers!?

I have an amp that's rated at 2 ohms and I have two 4 ohm subs, how do I get them to run 2 ohms?

Does my amp need the back on it? It rattles when I turn my system up and it is really annoying.?

If you have 2 single voice coil subs that rate at 4ohms then you can wire them in parallel which is the amps + to the subs + and the amps - to the subs -. That will get you to 2ohms.

How should I build my woofer box, and how should I wire the amp?

If you have 2 dual voice coil subs that rate at 4ohms you can only wire them so they perform at 4ohms or 1ohms.

Hello, im new to the car audio "scene" and was wanting to know how i could get the most out of my system.

run them in a series patern, negative to positive. the higher the ohm too, the more unclear the sound will be. it will sound better (not louder) at 4 ohms if you run them in parallel positive to positive, negative to negative.

Wires good, Subs good,Amp works..#2?

i believe that if you run them in paralell you will get an overall resistance of 2 ohms. see what others say, but i think i'm right
