Pioneer Ipod Adapter help?

Ok i have a Pioneer DEh P5800MP and the Ipod adapter that goes along with it th audio comes through fine but when i switch between songs i have to manually select the scrol text option under the function menu, and after I set the scrol option and i switch to another song i have to set it all over again, I want to know if anyone knows how to set it up so that when I change the song it will automatically scrol for me (everscrol is turned on)....Please Help

Those pioneer adapters are terrible - that's just how they work.
