Pros and cons of a car audio system?

Theres a possiblility that your subs can be blown, but to find out have one of your friends with sounds switch his amp with yours and see if the subs work..if they do then the problem is with the amp...if you checked the fuse some possibilties still remain..the channels can be blown...and/or...The grounding is not good.and/or.its not a good quality amp...

Car audio question?

In cases like these, there is usually a simple solution.

Ineed to know how much watts i need (car audio)?

1) check all connections, make sure they are tight
2) Check to make sure the low pass filter on the amp or the head unit is not on.
3) make sure the subwoofers are turned on on the head unit, and that the bass is up
4) make sure the gains are set properly
5) if none of these fix it, check to see if the sub is blown - gently press down on the center of the subwoofer's cone. if you hear a scratching sound, its probably done for.

If you put a bigger fuse in your amp will you get more power?

You might have too low of an impedance load on the amp. In most cases, the amp will still turn on but cut off when heavy music occurs. Some have very good low-imp. protection and won't even turn on.
Check resistance at the speaker terminals with a multimeter and if they're less than the minimum impedance of the amp (usually 2Ohm, good ones go down to 1/2 and even 1/4Ohm), it won't work, and your risking burning-up your amp.
Good Luck!
