Go to Home Depot and get some 4 or 8 gauge stranded copper wire. Get red and black for power and ground if possible. Also you will need a small wire, maybe 16 gauge or so to connect the remote wire to the amp. You will also need a set of RCAs which you can purchase at walmart, radioshack any of these stores.Don't buy that stuff at a car stereo store or circuit city - they will rip you off very badly. I've seen them charge upwards of $100 for "amp connection kits" which really just contain stranded copper wire that you can purchase at home depot for about $10.
You will need a amplifier connection kit if you dont knnow anybody who has a line of light to heavy duty cables. Once you get the right length of cables (power to battery, remote power, RCA, and ground wire) then all you have to do is run them.
