GMC Yukon factory radio issues.?

Question:
I recently went upstate on a trip. When I reached the outskirts of town I quickly lost all radio stations. When I did a seek it went through all the frequencies and back without finding a station. All the drive I could not get anything (occasionally I would get something fuzzy). Then on the way back they came back in right where I lost them. I suppose the attenna could be loose, but why can I only get radio stations close to the city. Never had this issue in any other vehicle.

A Car CD Deck remote?

Possibly an antannae issue, but maybe you're just going to a remote area with no near-by stations?
In my experience certain radios do pick up better than others, but the norm is that factory radios pick up am/fm frequencies MUCH better than aftermarket radios so all there is to do is take it to the dealer and tell them your problem. If it's under warranty then they'll have to find the problem for you for free.
