Question:
The RMS wattage on the subs is 175watts, and the amp is an Alpine with the following:
RMS Continuous Power @ 4 ohm (1% THD): 220Wx1
RMS Continuous Power @ 2 ohm (1% THD): 400Wx1
Bridged Power: 600W x 1 (at 4 ohms)
How much should I pay for audio deck installation?
How would i wire it for it to work the best, thanks!

what is the best jl13w7 or kicker solo x i know but u tell me?
First off, if its a mono amp, then it is not bridgeable. And based off of the first two ratings you list, I'm going to guess you have the Alpine MRP-M450, but I don't know where you came up with the bridged power (600x1@4ohms) from. Now assuming this is the amp, you have a few options depending on the subs. If the subs are SVC 4ohm subs, then they will work just fine with this amp - run the +s from both subs to the + on the amp, and the -s from both subs to the - on the amp. Now if you have DVC 4ohm/coil subs then that amp is too small, you'll have to wire the subs in series and then parallel them to the amp (4ohm load) so they'll be sharing the 220w rms, so they'll be running at half power. Now if you have DVC 2ohm/coil subs then they will work great with that amp, you'll have to series the subs and parallel them to the amp (2ohm load). What box is better for SQ with rap, hip-hop, techno?
It's not made for two speakers it's made for one,. technically you can hook up two just run two sets of wires....but I would just get one good speaker to handle it...sounds like a nice ampHow to install new rear and front speakers on a 2000 Chevy Lumina?
Yes, you can do it, but be careful with polarity of both speakers. You must connect both speakers at the same polarity otherwise phase from one speaker will cancel the other.
Another important thing is you also must check the impedance of your speaker. If both 8 or 4 ohms, it's OK.
You can try.
What is the best wood to use when building a custom fiberglass subwoofer box??
Yes, but there are several ways. Depending on the ohms your subs, but being 175 RMS they are probably 4 ohm. If your speaker block has two outputs then you just hook one to each side. If it has only one, then hook either a lead to each speaker and then double team them into the block, or run one lead from the amp to the sub, then come off that sub to the other, altho this will not be as efficent, as you have a significant load across the lead from the amp, you would be better off running seperate leads. However, if it is bridgeable, then that means it has two outputs for speakers, so you should just do one to each =/-. But, if you want to bridge it, then you have to hook one lead to the left of one block and the neg of the other, then run this lead to the speaker, and either run one lead and piggy back off it to the other, or run the seperate leads. whats good is that no matter what, you have significant power over the RMS of the subs, so it will hit harder and you won't have to kill the amp pushing it too hard, as opposed to having a 175 watt amp and 220 watt subs, so that makes me happy! Actually, just today I redid my subs, I have a 1235 watt amp pushing 2 15's and a 500 watt amp pushing two 15's that was bridged, so I undid the 500 watt amp and hooked all 4 to the 1235 watt amp, it hit so hard that I thought the rear window was ghoing to shatter, and it literally moved the trunk and top of the window out about 1/4 inch, it really is rediculous, I rattled everything, and i mean EVERYTHING, within 60 feet of the car....More Questions & Answers ...
