How do you install a car radio for a 87 Jeep?

Question:
Be as detailed as you can be

Answers:

My amp keeps going into protection, what should i do?

well first off u will need to by a adapter module so it will not mess up the wiring for your air bags/seat belts this module is specific for the year and model of your jeep and any audio installer will have it, tho it will run around 50 bucks, it will keep everything in your vehicle working that would not work without the module, such as air bag/seat belt lock..it varies...then u take the cd player and wire it to the module...which can be tricky if the wires are not color coded to match...after that u slide the cd deck into the plastic dash kit made for your vehicle( sell at Walmart- Around $20) to help the cd player have a snug fit in the exhisting dash.all this can be tricky and may need to be done by a professional to insure that no safety wiring is messed up much luck
