Question:
I went to my local car audio store (we have just one in the entire town) and they were wanting to charge me close to 150 to wire everything. I've heard it's pretty easy in the big scheme of things and I really don't have 150 dollars to be throwing around when I could just do it myself if I knew how. I know this is annoying but I just need a step-by-step guide to this without any big words or system lingo (if that is at all possible). I have pretty much everything I need because it all came in a kit, I just need to know how to hook it up. Thanks a bunch!

Rockford Fosgate has a bunch of good wiring diagrams on their site that you could follow if you want to do it yourself.Whats the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
However. The parts to install the wiring are probably going to run at least $50-75 - the rest is labor. If you want it to work nicely, to look nice, and have any type of warranty, pay the extra cash.
If you haven't done it before, either pay up the cash, or get a friend to help you...
If you don't mind spending about 40 bucks. Go to this site and buy their dvd on how to install your audio equipment. I'm sure if you watch it more than once, you will gain the confidence to attack your project. When I started installing car audio without any knowledge I messed up a few things and it wasn't the best audio system in the world. I would defintely spend a good 40 bucks on how to install it yourself. But I don't need to anymore. You can also go to crutchfield.com and they have flash/video tutorials on how to install your equipment. But if I was you, I would learn as much information I can before I install my equipment. On the crutchfeild website, school down until you see installation videos, browse around till you see what you want to learn. I provided the link below if your interested. Enjoy.
