Question:
I just bought a used car and the speakers do not work on the entire right side, which I guess would most likely be a wiring issue. Also the cigarette lighter is broken. So, I wouldn't bring my car to a mechanic, and I called places like Best Buy and Circut City but they will only look at it if you bought something to be installed. So where does one go? I live near Allentown PA if that helps. Thanks!

i own a repair shop,and we do that sort of work here,and a lot of small repair shops do this type of work you should give them a try they would appreciate your business and I'm sure they will do a good job on it,its not that hard of a repair to do,,good luck,i hope this help,s.Does getting getting music in your car kill your batterie?
the car speakers and car lighter fixin' people, of coarse! Duh!on your speaker problem put your hand under the dashboard behing the stero and touch the back of it and see if there is a loose wire on the back of the stero.or check the knobs on the radio they might be turned to the right for the balance is off.if so then put it back in the middle and for the cigarette lighter check your fuse box to see if the fuse is blown.most likey it is and since it is a used car the fuse blew and they never replaced it. in your owner manuel it will tell you what one is for the lighter,if you didn't get one with the car,then pull the fusebox cover off and it will have a diagram of the fusebox inside. good luck and I hope this worked.

Yellow pages are filed with car audio places in Allentown. Stereos & Alarms are their thing. Forget that best buy stuff( They are the wrong guys to go to). The lighter may just be a wire broken or a burnt element. Easy to find a replacement at any junk yard for $5.More Questions & Answers ...
