Subwoofers for car ?

wantin to know what would be the best choice subwoofer for the money that produces a nice deep bass?

Could i do this without harming anything?

The best bang for the buck would be a 12" Alpine Type-R with dual 4 ohm voice coils and a Hifonics BXi 606 amp to power it.

Depends on what size you want and what will wit your car, but I like Alpine I havent had ANY problems with them, but if not them then maybe Pioneer.
