What would be my best option for a stereo system. I drive a small hyundai accent and i love loud clean clear sounding music. What would be my best option for speakers and maybe a small subwoofer that wont make my trunk blow off. And im on a budget so the more affordable it is the better

Lightning Audio is manufactured by Rockford Fosgate (yes, really). They are very high quality for the money. The best part is that you can get them at Wal-Mart. I know, Wal-Mart, but they are very high quality for the money. I had to say it again.You can get 4" 2-ways for $25 a pair, 6.5" and 6x9's for $35 a pair, 12" sub for $45, and a 300watt rms amp for the sub for $75. Don't get a CD player from W-M. Find which model has the feature you want and shop around. You can get a decent-featured Alpine for about $125.
Totals: 2 pairs of speakers (say 6.5" and 6x9's) -$70
1 12" sub -$45
1 300watt RMS sub-amp -$75
1 cheap wiring kit -$25
1 (Alpine, do it right) CD player -$125
1 12" sub box -$30
Comes out to $370! Not bad, at all, for near-Rockford Fosgate quality!
I will say, I have a friend that has the 6x9's each getting 100watts RMS and 2 of the 12's each getting 350watts RMS, and this thing is Loud And Clear!

Get a good quality headunit, good front speakers and a 10" sub in a sealed enclosure. Install, crank, enjoy. Small cars like that really only need good fronts and a sub, if the rear speakers are too good/loud the sound is unnaturally weighted "behind you" (how many concerts do you go to where the music is playing from behind you).My sister has a hyundai accent so I know how much garbage the stock system is. I also noticed that it only has a small alternator of 80 amps. So I wouldn't put anything too powerful in the car without an alternator upgrade. Without the upgrade I would do no more than a 150 watt RMS sub. A Rockford Fosgate punch stage 1 would work fine. For a good level sound speaker should have a total of 30% the power of the sub, if your playing the music at max level. Since it is a low power sub just upgrading the speakers and CD player would be enough. I don't see a need for a 2nd amp for the regular speakers in this small setup. For a high quality & clean sound make sure the pre-outs on the CD player are 3 volt min for the subwoofer amp output. There are plenty of great speakers to replace the stock. Just go to crutchfield.com or sounddomain.com and check the product reviews.
