My Cd Player Turns Off Amp. Plz Help?

Question:
Whenever I insert any cd in my system my amp turns off... any help or tips?

Answers:

Why would a 400 watt 4 channel Alpine amplifier cut out when the bass reaches low frequencies?

What you did was wire the power-antenna wire to the remote turn-on input on your amps. This power-antenna wire (blue) only sends a 12 volt (what amps need to turn on) when RADIO is on. It's meant to raise power antennas when radio is on. It'll turn off when any other source other than radio is selected.

I have a 2000 Nissan Xterra and the radio display doesn't work. Any suggestions?

What you need to do it dissconnect this wire from behind the stereo and use the OTHER wire (blue with white line). This is the actual remote turn-on wire. This wire will supply a 12volt signal to the amps anytime the stereo is on, cd or radio.
