I need help installing a pair of subwoofer speakers already in an enclosure that is 8 inches wide?
Yes you will need to run wires to the battery. You will need an amplifier kit. 8 guage will be plenty large enough. I'm not sure what the model numbers you listed are, but I assume one of them is the line out converter so you can hook it up to your stock stereo. How do I get the Security code for my chevy stock radio Part #151849832?
p.s. I'd choose something other than the bazooka tube if you still have time to change your mind.

EDIT
Well in that case, at least upgrade to the 10" or 12" tube... I've listened to the 8" tube and it is very, very wimpy. What type of budget do you have? Basically, the tube is just a subwoofer with an amplifier already hooked up to it, so you will still have to do most of the wiring - you will need to run wires from your battery, to the tube, and from the head unit to the tube. If you've never done it before it can be tricky -especially if you dont have an aftermarket head unit.
I would like to install a sound system in my car but would like to do it the cheapest way possible?
EDIT
It looks like both of those pieces will hook up the head unit to the tube. But you will also need an amplifier kit. A cheap one will cost you around $20. I recommend this one http://www.beachaudio.com/product_info.p...
It basically will involve running a power wire to the tube (with a fuse), and a ground wire to the metal chassis of the car.
What should I do (add a cap or let it run off the battery)?
EDIT
Yes, that's pretty much it. The positive goes from the battery to the bazooka tube. The ground goes from the bazooka tube directly to the chassis. Make sure you choose a clean ground - that is it is metal, part of the chassis, and scraped free of any pain.
Good luck!
