2001 mitsubishi eclipse front speakers?

Question:
I am trying to install pioneer TS-D161R (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3... in the front speaker slots but when I pulled the old speakers out they wore in a built in a bracket of some sort and i dont know what to use to get the new speakers to fit

you have to remove the plastic around the factory speaker and mount the pioneers on that plastic ring later mount the ring with the speakers back in the door the plastic also protects the speaker if water gets inside the door from the window
