How to add more speakers?

Question:
My sound system is very loud compared to others. I however do not think its loud enough. I have plenty of power running, actually around 150-180 watts per speaker running, all my speakers are pioneer yellow premiums, 6x9 in back and 6.5's in front. I want to know how to make it louder, whether i should add more speakers or buy louder ones?? i also have a fosgate p3 subwoofer. i have 4 channels open on one of my amps so there is plenty of room for more speakers. What are louder speakers or should i just add more?

Answers:

I have 2 12" Kicker CVX subwoofers and a Kenwood Excelon Amp. Do I need 2 of these amps to get max power?

The power that pushes a speaker determines on how loud they are. Always look at the watts RMS when talking power as this closer to actual output power.

Is a certificate required to install car audio equipment for customers?

It's up to you what you do, but adding more speakers will only make it louder by only so much. Getting a higher powered amplifier with speakers to match is one way to get more out of a system.
