Rule of thumb thicker power cable is better. Buy your power cable at home depot or somewhere like that rather than a car stereo store - copper wire is copper wire.
Keep in mind that depending on your car and amplifiers the more you run the more likely it is you'll need to invest in an upgraded battery and/or capacitor for your car.
