Hey who is good with KENWOOD stereo?
Sensativity ratings are Very important. Most off-brand manufacturers lie about the sensativity ratings to make their product seem 'louder' with the same power. It's true, but it's really up to box-design that matters. You could put a crappy sub in a box that was designed for it and it will sound much much better and louder than a bad-a** sub in a crappy (or, prebuilt) box. Please, buy your sub-amp, then buy the sub with an rms rating that is right under the rms rating of the amp, then have someone (if not yourself) build a study box with dimensions provided buy the sub manufacturer. To overpower a speaker is okay. Now, pushing distorted (clipped) signals to a sub (any speaker in that case) will blow it eventually.
it just depends on the sub, that shows how efficient it is, the 400 rms sub at 91db means it is creating 91db with 1 watt at 1 meter away

What kind of amp do i need for these subs?
it is a factor if ur competingMore Questions & Answers ...
