Just buy something between 20 and 30% higher than that of the + terminal main feed wire to your starter motor. That to take account of the additional length. That will solve you problem. Only there are other issues! Like the connections at each end, they must be fitted using the correct tools and tightened very securely to prevent heat generated at the terminal point. Also, given the additional length, fit a shield to the cable before installing it. A long piece of hosing does the job very well. Also the position of the Amp must be in a ventilated area though modern c-mos devices have a much less heat dissipation, you won't necessarily know that.Bolt it to the chassis or a large piece of polished aluminum. If it is on display, you can always fit the necessary decor, around the module, hiding the aluminum mounting. As for two-or more channels, i don't think you will notice given the close proximity. And expect a flat battery too, if your using it whilst the vehicles not running, even whilst idling, your engine may not charge the battery sufficiently. So upgrade you battery, and finally make sure you alternator is up to the job too!
