Question:
The speakers on the right of my truck make a noise that sounds like someone trying to make a farting sound with their tongue. This only happens when I'm listening to a.m. radio. Also the sound goes in tune with the engine say when I am accelerating and the engine noise gets louder and faster the noise gets louder and faster. Does anyone have any idea of what the problem could be?
Answers:

go to your local wal-mart first then audio shop(cheaper that way) and look for a noise filter, it should have instructions on how to install it better than i can give you.

Are your speakers run with an amp? If so, the engne noise youre hearing is probably because you have the RCA cable and power cable right next to each other. If neither of the cables is sheilded, then engne noise transfers to the RCAs, and creates sound through your speakers of your engine. Will a Boss BLX5000 be enough to support 2 12" TS-W3004SPL subs without blowing the subs?
