Radio code 1995 Honda civic and asking again?

Question:
I have called all dealers including the one mine came from with vin no. no luck they just want to take out the radio for $115 bucks. It seems to be a rip off to make people pay that much for a code. Any other suggestions will take out myself if I have too. Any easy ways to take out? Never have another antitheft radio with out engraving it all over the car.

Look in the owners manual or in the glove compartment. In one of those places you'll find a little sticker that has your radio code on it.

What size amp do i need to run 2 10" subs in my car?

they want to take it out to get a serial number off the back of the headunit... see, they use a special code that is derived from the headunit and the vin # and have some kind of formula... if you dont want to spend the money.. just buy a cheap headunit and install that
