Do you have stattelite radio?

Unfortunately people have stopped being inventive. The Ohm is a measure of resistance to the flow of electricity. If the resistance changes from 2 to 4 ohms, then it is twice as hard for the electricity to flow. Need more information to answer your question, but I suspect that yet another well understood word has succumed to being used in a wrong fashion in the new high-tech world.

What are some good 12" subwoofers for a camaro?

Ohms is the units of resistance the higher the number the more resistance.
It depends on which one your amp can handle. Look to see if the amp can handle the 2 ohm. You could blow the outputs on your amplifier if they can't handle the smaller resistance.
You can put two 2 in series to equal a 4 . If you wire two 2 in parallel it will be equivalent to a 1. The same would be if you wired two 4 in parallel it would be equal to one 2.

Is this Pyramid 4000 watt amp any good?

Ohms Is the value given to the amount of resistance in an electrical circuit or part . A normal piece of wire should have "0" Ohms Resistance in it . 2 Ohms is a lesser value than 4 ohms of resistance. go on line and look up OHMS LAW
IT will teach you alot about electricity and current flows .

2004 pontiac grand am se1 w/ monsoon. what adapter do i need to keep door chimes?

Check what the amp is rated at and pick speakers to match.
Mismatching that can not only blow your amp, but while it works your bass and treble will be off.
In the case of speaker systems the ohms don't represent resistance (DC), but what is called impedance (AC). And that actually changes with the frequency.

How do you take out the stock radio in a 2003 chevy s10?

an ohm is a measure of resistance, and resistance is an opposition to current flow. ohms are almost always used in reference to speakers, even though that is not really the correct term to use. the correct term is impedance, the opposition to CHANGE in current flow, measured in Henrys (more commonly milliHenrys). the problem is, it is very difficult to convey the concept because the value of impedance changes in direct proportion to frequency, and sound IS frequency (at least a direct product of it). since the impedance fluctuates wildly, a NOMINAL IMPEDANCE is determined for each and every speaker and a standard is attempted to be met by the manufactuer. you cannot measue impedance with a multimeter very well, though, because most multimeters use batteries which operate on direct current. that's why we use ohms, because we take the direct current reading of the coil and round it up (not really, but close enough an explanation) to a standard value labeled in ohms.

2003 Saturn L200. Where can I find and an Adapter to hook up an amp and sub?

if you want to run two subs, and they have one voice coil each, i recommend the 2ohm. if they are dual voice coil, i recommend 4 ohms. put all the coils in parallel to achieve 1 ohm, which i am sure that almost all monoblock amps can handle. if you plan on more speakers than that, please do some careful planning and research to come to the best combination.
