What kind of speakers go in the rear of the car? what about 4 way speakers like the common Xplod brand?

i have bought a new stereo and 10 inch sub but before i install them i need to replace the blown out (not by me) rear speakers and im not sure which kind of speakers to buy.

I would personally suggest Polk audio, probably a 5x7, 6x8, or 6x9 depending on the make or model of your vehicle. The Sony Xplode brand is high quality for the price, but with high end speakers like Polk, Boze, JL Audio, MTX, or Kicker, your sound quaulity will be more crisp, full, and rich. When it comes to cars, you get what you pay for.

I have 320 watt 6 by 9 xplods and I say definatly get them because you cant go wrong with them especially for the price of $80. They exceeded must expections,they sound amazing and they pump out a lot of bass trust me. I wouldnt go with Polk Because they are pretty expensive and they have hardly any bass.Oh yea the Xplods sound even beter hooked up to an Xplod receiver and you put the settings on XPLOD MODE you get even more bass out of your speakers

Do toyota celica car stereo's have the standard feature of playing mp3 cd's?

I suggest getting Infinity speakers. I have not had any problems with them. They will pump out enough bass to satisfy but also I have not noticed any distortion with these speakers.

i would deff. go with something bette than xplod. get somthing like infinity or rockford and put a amp to them. i put a pare of infinty kappas in my car and put a 200 kicker amp to them and they slamed like 2 12s would. recomend a amp it will sound much more chrisp hope that helps
