Reliabilty is a wash, Motorolla alps ( Alpine) electronically is a very old established company as is Kenwood. Either is going to hold up great if they are priced the same then it is a toss up. With the features are being very similar, you cannot go wrong either way, Alpine has better matched speakers so I would go with them.i perfer Kenwood over Alpine any day. but its what you like more. both are loaded with features. you have to base your descion on which is easier for you to use, and which is the better deal.
