Can i hook 2 car stereos to the same speakers in my conversion van?

Question:
dodge ram van stereo in main dash. can i install another stereo in the back, to work with the same speakers

Answers:

Anyone know the radio wire diagrams for a 2002 mazda tribute?

Only if you use a switch to let them have one input at a time. It would also be a good idea to have a dummy load to the stereo that doesn't have speakers connected to it. Use a resistor of the same impedance as the speakers and with enough wattage to handle the load.

Why am I getting a loud low frequency hum through the woofers?

Personally, I wouldn't do it, just run 2 sets of speakers, one in the front for that stereo and one in back for the rear stereo.

Other than dynamat or similar products..are there other things to use to eliminate rattling?

Yes you can you need a switch though. Generally they make things like you are talking about so you can play TV audio on the speakers in vans.

Does anyone know how much ican get for my Dr. Carnkenstein subs?

Only one radio can be allowed to be connected to the speakers at a time. If you have four speakers, that makes eight wires that would have to be switched at once, without connecting any of them together. You can do it with a pair of 4PDT relays, but it's likely to be much, much more trouble than it's worth for whatever you're trying to accomplish.

Car stereo / GPS combination?

Instead of worrying about dummy loads, it should be simple to wire another relay so that the dash radio is turned off whenever the rear radio turns on.
