Sony excd-21 auto cd player problems?

Question:
When I put a cd in it goes through the seconds on the display like its playing but no sound and the radio scans all the channels like the antenna aint hooked up but it is. It is wired up right and I can hear the beeps it makes when I press a button through the speakers. It was working fine in the last car I had but then it started doing this.

Did you at least check the fuses on the back, also make sure you check your ground wires

Re-check those once again. Make sure you have an antenna adapter if you put this in a GM vehicle. Otherwise, it is an internal problem with the CD Player.
