6x9 speakers arent the best for bass and so 1980's. I didn't even realize they still made them. Save yourself the hassle and get some regular subwoofers and component speakers, it will be worth the extra $$$.How do i know if my subs are dvc(dual vioce coil) or not?

bosebose if you have the money, but overall and best priced Pioneer Rev Series. They are yellow and are pioneers competition speakers.
best bass i have ever heard from a 6x9 comes from Pioneer's Rev line. they go down to 22 hrz. with a small amp they really pound nice. here are the specs and a link
