What would I need to push a Kicker CompVX?

yes, there are 2 ways to do it
1) get a amp that has high level inputs (thats a plug that plugs into the amp so you can use the wires from the factory speaker harness)
2)get a high to low level input adapter (wires into stereo so you can use rca wires)can find at autoparts store or walmart or some place like that in car audio dept.

Help with capacitors for amp subwoofers??

Yeah its possible, if it has preamp outputs then its really no problem, but if it doesnt, then just pick yourself up a high/low converter at any audio shop, using the converter will allow you to wire up an amp to power you sub.
