Is it my kenwood faceplate or the whole radio?

Question:
Lately my kenwood in-dash cd player has been cutting out at random times, and also if I hit a bump hard enough. I have had the radio for two years now, but I love it, so I was wondering if I needed to replace the whole radio or just the face plate itself? The faceplate is under $100 and I still get a discount on that price, so will that fix my problem?

Answers:

Where can I find JL audi parts to fix my amp? in Stockton or near?

If the music is skipping or cutting out, that means the disc is moving, your faceplate will have nothing to do with this. You'll have to replace to whole thing or try a few things to make the reciever more secure.

Sony Xplode cd player not working but radio is?

it might just be a loose wire somwhere.check more into it. and if you going to buy a new face plate for a hundred bucks you might as well just buy a new deck.
