Is a Hifonics Brutus BXi1606D better to hook up to an Alpine 1222 R than an Alpine MRD-M1005?

Just bought a Alpine Type R 2ohm but need a great amp for at least less than 300 bucks. Any ideas?

Either one should work very well ,is it better ? you will get more power 1600rms @ 1ohm, in fact with the brutus, but alpine amps usually match up pretty good with there drivers
Just make sure you buy the hifonics from a respectable dealer,because I've seen alot of refurbished stuff floating around on the web .
