Front or Rear firing Subs in trunk.....BEST S.Q??

Question:
I dont want that crappy trunk vibrating noise with my high powered system. I also want as much sound in the interior of the car as possible.

Does any one knows what size of speakers fit on a 2007 chevrolet silverado single cab?

I dont really car about other people hearing me, me hearing the system comes first.

Would a Pioneer DEH-1900MP work in a chevy malibu classic and is that any good?

Should I fire the subs through the rear seat or fire them at the trunk lid??

Depending on the vehicle, either way might sound better or they might sound the same. All you can do is try both and see how they sound to you. There is no "rule of thumb" in aiming subs.

It is rare for a subwoofer to distort the rear speakers, but it can happen, especially if there are ports on the top of the box that vent directly under the speakers. Otherwise, relieving the air pressure in the trunk will cure the problem. If possible, put a high-pass filter on the speakers so they're not trying to play the bass that the subwoofer can play.

first u need to dynamat the trunk put dynamat license plate kit behind license plate. turn woofers to the rear. make an opening in the rear deck so sound can get into the car. good luck!!
