How do I remove the stock radio of a 1995 Geo Metro Lsi sedan?

Question:
I've already got the radio hanging almost halfway out but there's some ungodly force keeping it in. I pull as hard as I can and it still won't slide out. Is there some simple thing I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
