If you dont have a alarm system already you have to wire everything from scratch, you need shock sensors in the doors, just pry the door panels off with a screw driver or something, its held on with push pins, than you have to connect the "black box" to the horn that you mount under the hood and the ignition swicth in the steering column, its kind of a pain but, the instruction books helps a little bit, they are never really clear, so, usually want to leave it to the pros...
