I have 2 600 watt pioneer amps that I want bridge, but someone said I couldn't bridge them unless my subs where 8 ohms, is this true

First off, no, your subs don't have to be 8 ohm. However, most amps won't tolerate a load below 4 ohm when bridged and you could smoke them.

not true u could run 2 of ur woofers paralell into mono into each amp which means u would hold a 4 ohm load into each amp. good luck!!!!!
