Every time I turn up my volume on my cd player, my subs will cut off. When I turn it back down, my subs will start to play. I have 2 12's with a 800 watt amp. Its the producst of MTX. I dont know what it may be.

Check the wiring inside your box. About two weeks ago I asked they same question and inside my box where my subs were. I had a wire that was only held on by the plastic thats wrapped around the speaker itself. Everytime I would turn my radio up, my subs would cut off. So one day I took my subs out the box and I was ready to disconnect the speaker wire inside the box. I noticed that it wasnt all the way connected. Before you do anything else check your wiring inside the box. Trust me I had it happen to me.If i hook two 12's and a 15 sub up, will it sound good, or should i not mix different sized subs?

its probably b/c there are some loose wires-and when you move around the wires tends to cut off-and comes back on..think about it , and analyse. to produce the base responce in a woofer, the amp has to be able to draw some serious current [ amps ]
your speakers cutt out, cause the anp cannot deliver and shut down before it blows. it;s either in correct wireing, weak sourse of power or bad amp. Thin guage wires used for delevering power to the amps is a wrong way to go. You gotta use heavy like number 10 or bigger
lower down the gain on your amp. Your amp is to powerful for those subs. Or you could simply turn the bass down on your deck, that might work.
Turn the gain to a higher number, it's too sensitive.
