What are the best aftermarket speakers for a 01 jeep wrangler sport?

Question:
i am trying to make my jeep have the loudest possible sound, but with a clear crisp sound. I dont want it to the point where it is just boom boom. My price range is 1500. I have 500 watt kenwood speakers on the sound bar and in console. I also have an unknown amp, and a stock jeep subwoofer which doesnt work and it has 2 tweeters on it. And a sony xplode cd deck. Please help me, thanks a lot.

Do you need to hook up the rem on a car amp?

Get an Alpine 4-channel amp for your mids. I recommend the MRV-F345 or MRP-F450. You should also get yourself a different deck. Sell your Sony to a friend or something. I like the Pioneer Premier decks such as the DEH-P590IB. Alpine also makes really good decks. They just don't have as many features as the Pioneers. As far as upgrading your mids, I like the Pioneer REV series or Alpine type-R's. If neither of these will fit, than try the Alpine type-S'. Prefab subwoofer boxes are available for your Jeep with two down-firing woofers. As far as subs and an amp, I recommend Rockford. If you don't want too much bass, than get a pair of P210's or P212's with a P325.2 or P450.2 amp.
