How do you install strobe light with your aftermarket car alarm?

Okay, this may sound stupid, but make sure the balance control is centered in your radio. You'd be surprised how many people think they have bad speakers but just have the balance or fader adjusted wrong.

How much should I pay someone to install speakers in my car?

Other than that, there are a few things that could be causing it. In my experience, blown speakers would be the most likely cause, followed by a bad radio.

I have an 04 Explorer Sport trac that i am trying to install new speakers, which factory wire is positive/neg?

A quick way to check would be to unplug the non-working speaker in the trunk, then test it with a AA battery. Just strip the ends on two short pieces of wire, tape one wire to each pole on the battery, and probe the speaker terminals with the other ends. If the speaker pops or the cone moves, then it's probably good and the problem is the radio. If the speaker doesn't move, then it's a bad speaker. Don't use anything higher than a 1.5v battery to avoid damaging the speaker.

same thing happened to me in my car...turned out it was the stereo itself. I got a new one, and the speakers worked fine.

Probably a wiring issue. It could have a bare spot grounding it out.

Try playing around with the equalizer knobs on your sound system.they may just be turned off.

Anyone's guess as to how loud these will be?

Sounds like a blown channel in the radio. If both front and rear are not working. Even blown speakers make noise.

Infinity speakers?

it sounds like you either have a short in the speaker which is most likly or you still have a wire crossed .. take a car speaker if you have one laying around * a home speaker will work too* and wire it to the right rear speaker connections on your harness to see if it works ... if it does replace the speaker.. if it doesnt you will need to go back over your wiring .. here is a site that might help you if you are doing a straight wire in www.streetdreams.com/wires

Do you have to have a subscription to have a ...?

ok if you are using a wire harness adapter, and you are wiring it to your new units harness , the color should match up color for color, the adapter harness should have colors and also on the wire it should say what it is such as "left front +" your new units harness should have the same but sometimes its just colored wires and stick on labels, so look over your wires real close.. they should match color for color then you simply plug your adapter harness into your cars stock plug and your ready for music ... now i have never in my history of installs found a harness adapter that didnt match up with an aftermarket units harness .. sometimes the shade of the colors will be off by a pinch but they are always labeled on the part of the adapter harness .. and if the new units harness isnt marked the book for the unit tells you what they are

Parallel Hook-Up
Connect speakers in parallel to reduce impedance. Connect all speaker positives to positive terminal on amplfier. Repeat with negative connections. If all speakers have the same impedance, the total impedance is the impedance of a single speaker divided by the total number of speakers. Two 4 ohm speakers in a parallel connection will have a impedance of 2 ohms.

Does anyone have a audio wiring diagram of a nissan datsun pulsar (N12) 1983 model?

Series Hook-Up
Connect speakers in series to elevate impedance. For a series connection, connect the positive terminal of speaker "A" to positive terminal of the amplifier. Next connect the negative terminal of speaker "A" to the positive terminal of speaker "B". Now connect the negative terminal of speaker "B" to the negative terminal of the amplifier. The load in a series connection is all of the individual impedances added together. Example : Two 4 ohm speakers wired in a series connection will result in a 8 ohm load.
