Question:
For a pretty decent system for a minivan, what would be everything I need to get. I'm trying to get that perfect sound without blasting the kids out the car. Something that would make you feel like your in the club and thats not $1000.00.

How do I bridge a 4 channel amp to recieve max power?
well, you would want to upgrade the headunit, replace the factory speakers, add atleast 1 amp , 1 sub , 1 box and you would need a wiring kit, harness kit and maybe a dash kit depending on model of minivan.you can skip the replacing the factory speakers if thats not in your budget.go to caraudiodeals.com they have package deals with amp, subs, box, wiring kit for less than $400 and add a headunit for about $120 .if you want to go the cheapest way posible then just add a powered bass tube.Is there downloadable guide on tuning car audio EQ and crossover?
4 speakers, stereo, amp, bass get it @ recycler.com or ebay lolu need a cd player, new speakers, subwoofer, and amp.
We also own a mini van and I would say for a decent all you really need to replace is the head unit and speakers. If you don't want to blow out the kids or your wallet, you can get a nice head unit and replacement speakers that will sound nice. without putting a hole in your pocket.. minivans are built for sound so it doesn't take much to achieve that . Amp, sub, tube, etc...?? i wouldn't go that far, unless you're going for a show van..
