Opinion question. one fifteen vs two twelves?

Question:
what will rattle teeth better? i have about three to three and a quarter cubic feet to put a box in my trunk. adaquitely give the fifteen room to breathe or stuff two twelves in there. any answer pertaining to the question welcome. two 600 watt rms amps. as low as two ohm stable is what i'm running.

12"s will have more airspace. your asking which will be louder, 15" of cone space, or 24"? 24" (or 2 12"s) will be louder, cause your moving more air. unless the 15 has a great xmas then both 12''s combined, the 12"s are going to be louder everytime. there also going to sound better.

2 12's have more radiating area. Go with the Rockford P312-D4's. They'd be perfect for you. Their recommended range is 1.25-2.0 cu. ft./sub. You have about 1.6. Staple some thick batting to the insides of the box and tune it like it has 1.75 cu. ft./sub.

I agree with the one guy, 2 rockford P3's would work fairly well. They need little room, esp the new models. They hit pretty hard as well. Two 12's will push more air than 1 15.

Well the 12's have almost 50 sq inches more of cone area (which moves more air). With the airspace you have, I would honestly go with the single 15, Like a Fi BL or Q... You will have better sound with the single driver than trying to squeeze 2 drivers into a smaller space
