Will this sub work with my amp ?

Planet Audio under rates their amplifiers like crazy. you didn't mention what type of a sub it was, nor the size of the box, nor did you mention the type of car.. these are all major factors when it comes to building the ultimate system for maximum loudness.

I have been a major fan of Planet Audio for years, and nothing will ever pull me away.

What size speakers fit in a camaro 1995 front and back? Whats better a two way or 4 way speakers?

Back to your question, the main reason is when people buy such an expensive sub like the Kicker L7, they put cheap amplifiers up against them, just because they say "2,000 watts"... in all actuality, that's max power at lowest impedance possible, in plain english means it's probably a 2 channel amp, pushing 500 watts RMS per channel, 1,000 max, at 1 ohm, and cut that in half twice for a 4 ohm speaker, so you're actually saying 125watts RMS per channel, with a Total Harmonic Distortion of somewhere in the neighborhood of 7% (really really bad)

with Planet Audio, you said your amp is 60x2 rms, which means if you have it bridged 4 ohm, it's cranking out 120-200 watts RMS mono, and all PA amps have a THD of WAY less than .05%... that all translates down to PURE POWER.

that little monster you have is probably one of the best single-sub amplifiers out there for a simple system.

Can I hook up my Krzr to my car stereo so I can play MP3's?

I hear you. My system is $150, eBay, and using a good sensitivity sub and a sealed box I put out about 250 watts on 2 12"subs. My friend has 2 15'' rf's each with about 500 rms. Mine are banging pretty good but all his do are make the rear windshield go up and down. I don't know that just wattage is enough to make a judgement on how loud a system will be. Really, imagine if you had a 1000 watt system? What would you do with all that? I think this is just people looking at a light bulb and seeing 50 watts and saying that nothing. But most home subs are doing what, like 100 rms maybe. And that makes houses shake.
