Amplifier problem......?

Question:
TODAY WHEN I GOT INTO MY CAR THE SPEAKERS WERE NOT SO I CHECKED MY AMP AND THE FUSE WAS SLIGHTLY MELTED SO I WENT AND PURCHASED A NEW FUSE..WHEN I PUT THE NEW ONE IN THE AMP STILL DONT CUT ON..A GREEN LIGHT WAS ON BUT NOT THE WHOLE AMP..PLZ HELP..

sounds like the amp has gone into protection mode undo both sets of speaker wires and then just hook one set back up and see if it plays if it does you have wires touching and when you hook up the other speaker it should down then just check you connection at the back of the speakers inside the box

I'm assuming you replaced the fuse in the power wire up by the battery. Check the internal fuses of the amplifier to see if they also were blown. Also, make sure you replaced the fuse with the right size. If you used a fuse with too high of an amp rating, the amplifier might not turn on.
