For example, an amp that specs 2x100Watts at 8 Ohms, usually can pump 2x200Watts at 4 Ohms, and 2x400Watts at 2 Ohms. So it will have the capability to give more output at lower impedance. But it also have the limit of how low the impedance it can handle. Too low and it may heat and blow itself out.Now, if your sub is 4 Ohms and 100W, you should use a power at least 100Watts at 4 Ohms per channel, or with 4 Ohms bridge output of 100Watts
