My fm car radio has stopped receiving fm what do i do?
My advice is to buy the right tools; they're less than $8 at discount stores. It is possible to remove them with bent solid wire or bent coat hangers, but much harder; and you run the risk of damaging the brackets, in which case you'd probably have to destroy the radio to remove it.burn your car.{~_^}

Make your own. The removal tool is shaped somewhat like the top of a Bishop chess piece so you can pull on it to get the stereo out after you push the retainer clips in. Just sharpen the ends of some clothes hanger wire (about the shape of a knitting needle) and push them in the 4 holes on the front of the radio to release the retaining clips. When the clips are released you can remove the radio but you have to just pull on the radio itself or if you can reach behind it you can push it out.Good Luck...i have removed one with a metal coat hanger before you cut it and bend it so that they fit into the holes and pull and wiggle but its worth the $15 to buy the tool
The proper tools cost a few quid.
