Why go into the car audio business if your not going to stock anything.?

LIke the guy above said, do the big three upgrade. Capacitors are a waste of money, get a batcap. They have the power of 50 farads and cost the same as a 1 farad. you can get batcaps on ebay. You may also wan't to upgrade your car's battery. Batcap also makes high performance car batteries.

Can i return these speakers?

Trash the cap! Power capacitors are a waste of your money! Do the Big 3 upgrade (Alternator power wire to battery, ground wire from battery to frame, and ground wire from frame to engine block) all in 4 gauge wire or bigger. You will notice a bigger improvement than adding a cap. If this still doesn't stop your headlights from dimming, which it should, then upgrade to a High Output alternator.

What is the name of the little round speaker in center of dashboard of a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse?

The guy who mentioned the new upgraded altenator is on the MONEY! You can't go wrong with that, and you can't over do it either, so you can have a 200+ amp alt. The alt. only supplies power to accessories that need the power. So you will not hurt anything in the long run.

Added sub, now speakers wont work?

DONT GET A NEW BATTERY! They are for starting cars only, not running accessories! Altenators do that, now you know :)

If your alternator is 70 amps or higher, you need to do nothing.

Im looking into buying a new car audio?

However, I DO have a 1.5 Farad cap and I have measured a 4 volt difference on my oscilloscope without the cap during big bass hits (this IS a significant difference).

Can somboady give me a website for bass installs for cars not normal boxes thanks?

Whether to use a cap is a tricky calculation as in most cases it really only helps marginally. There are those rare cases, like mine, where it actually helps.
