Can a sub enclosure be made out of tempered glass 15mm thick? Will the glass affect sound quality?

The glass can measure from 4mm-19mm thick. I want to make an enclosure entirely out of this tempered glass. This will be clear glass. So i plan to put a neon inside if possible. Will this glass enclosure be able to withstand the pressure of a 12" sub?

Just put the word PLEXI in front of your material and you're set. Drilling, cutting, bolting and making anything structural and you're talking PLEXIglass - easy to find in all colors and thicknesses - but cutting plexi is tricky.
