Whats a good brand to go with as far as well made cheap in dash dvd?

im leanin twords soundstream although i dont know why ive also heard good stuff about valor and even planet audio. id also apreciate any sugestions for cheap in dash navigation (under 600 if thats possible)

The old saying always holds true... you get what you pay for.. now while saying that. I have not found a good "cheap" DVD with nav. Honestly I would say save up your money and get either a Pioneer or an Eclipse.

If nav isn't that important the jensen is a pretty good unit for $400.00, I installed one for a friend and it sounds great and looks good too

Just pony up the money for a Pioneer Avic-N2. You should be able to find a pretty good price if you shop around. They include Navigation, so you won't have to pay for that later. Soundstream makes some good stuff, but the company has problems and may not be there to warranty your equipment in the future.

well if go cheaper it will last for awhile but not as long as a well known brand, crutchfield has a Jensen for $399.99 but it has no navigation. i would go with the kenwood kvt717 with navigation, and it ran me $1,099.99. good luck!!
