Question:
i have the wire for the parking break on the back of this dvd player but have no idea where to hook it up to. not on wiring harness. anybody help?
Answers:
What amp should i get for this speaker??
I think you have to show ground, take it off for 3-5 seconds and then show ground constantly. The video will then play. You must do this sequence each time so its impossible to just have it grounded.
Do I need a special radio mounting kit for a chevy Aveo?
Go to Radioshack and pick up a push button with normally closed connects (N.C.) and connect one side to ground and the other side to the pink parking brake wire. Hope this helps.
What kind of amp wud u ppl recomend me?
Or you can connect it to the parking brake like your legally supposed to, but what's the fun in that?
Im getting interference in my car stereo...?
Hello. well, LEGALLY, you are supposed to hook this wire to the wire that is connected to the emergency brake. If you want to watch the screen while driving (which is illegal) then you will ground this wire with the black wire on the radio. If this is the one from wal-mart, then you will have to have a special module that will allow the screen to work. Jensen jumped into the role of big brother and decided to make their new head units where you cant just ground that wire anymore. You have to apply the brake then turn the ignition on and then disengage the brake and then re-apply the brake. We were going to start selling these in our shop until we saw how aggrivating this would be. You have to do this everytime you turn it on. They told us that we could get a p.a.c. module or a peripheral piece that would fix this, but we just decided to return all of them. You will have to go to a car audio shop to get the piece. Sorry I dont have the model number of the control module, but they should be able to help you. Try hooking the wire to ground and if you still dont get a picture, then you will have to have the module!! Good luck and Live Loud!More Questions & Answers ...
