Question about alpine head unit?

I am thinking about buying the alpineIVA-W200

what is the diffrence between this one and the pioneer besides price and 1/2 an inch. and does anyone own one that could give me a review or if u know about it. all help appreciatted

the IVA-W200 does not have built in navigation. If you plan on using an I-POD go with the Alpine. the part is KCA-422i it gives you a high speed direct I-POD connection. Much faster and easier to use than pioneer. Also the alpine has a unique motorized face plate, it moves out first then tilts open . this allows it to be flush mounted without interference.

well there is no difference really i mean pioneer and alpine are both the most respectable brands in car stereo..some ppl prefer alpine others pioneer..its up to you and what you wanna pay...im gonna get the new pioneer AVIC-N3 dvd/navigation just cuz i love pioneer. but agains no difference some prefer pioneer and some prefer alpine
